San Diego Day #4

O.K. Today we went to the San Diego Wild Animal Park, which was pretty exciting. There were lots of exotic birds flying around and, well, it was just more exciting than a typical zoo. The animals had much more space to roam in and they were more natural settings. I thoroughly enjoyed the visits. I also tried boogie boarding today . . . I hoped for bigger waves, but it was not to be. Maybe tomorrow.

San Diego Day 3

Today we had fun. We went to the San Diego Zoo for a bit. When it got too hot we headed back to the hotel for Baby to nap. Then it was off to the beach! After that . . . back to the hotel for our free dinner (that’s right; we get free dinners here).

San Diego Day 2

Our second day went as well as our first. Maybe even better! Here are a few pictures from a rest stop and a few from Sea World!

Our Trip – Day 1

We started off driving from Vancouver about 5:30 A.M. and ended up in Sacramento about 4:00 P.M. We walked around a bit, enjoyed the sun, ate dinner then relaxed at our hotel. Here are a few pictures of our fun time.

Baby at the Park

Here’s yet another video I threw together of Baby running around at the park. I didn’t put any music or anything to it . . . it’s kind of a short one. But it’s VERY cute.

Pop-Pop’s Visit

Here’s Alaina with her Pop-pop. At least I think that’s what she calls him. I can’t quite tell. Anyway, enjoy.

Baby’s Cousins – New Video

Well, nobody’s been commenting on my videos, so I don’t know why I’m posting another one (hint, hint) . . . but here it is. Baby’s visit with her cousins.

Baby Goes to the Zoo

Here’s Baby having fun at the zoo. I took this video with my new Canon t2i and the kit lens. Next time I’ll try using my 50mm f/1.8 Canon lens. I think it’ll produce sharper video but it won’t give me the ability to frame my shots as well.

Anyway, enjoy the video.

Some New Baby Pictures

I meant to post these sooner . . . and there are more I want to add to this bunch, but I simply haven’t taken the time necessary to work on pictures lately. I hope you enjoy these. They’re mostly from a trip we took to the Rose Garden.

The blue heron was a surprise. I was eating dinner . . . saw the bird fly by and ran outside. There he was sitting on a rock by the river. I grabbed my camera and hit the button and this is what I got.
