A long time ago, I met Amity. We played pinochle at a Thanksgiving get-together in 1996 (and I hated that game) but I thought I should play because she was playing. After that we started emailing and the rest is history. We started doing all sorts of fun things together, including day trips to the beach, like this one back in 1997.

Well, Auntie, the family saga actually began long before this picture that you’re seeing. The one that’s here NOW is actually much closer to the beginning of things. This picture was taken in 1997, about a year before we were married. Eventually I’ll re-post the one you saw but that’s about five years down the road!
